My tie to Maine started in 1972 outside of Chicago when my then-boyfriend sent me a dark green down jacket from LLBean after which I began to receive their catalog. Later I subscribed to DownEast Magazine and in 1980 I moved east. Part of every year since, I've spent time in Maine. I hope some people will look at this star and feel the same nostalgia I do. (Lots of collage elements in this one.)
